Canons, smoke bombs and wine

It was an honour to attend the wonderful topping-out ceremony held at Tors Park in Lynmouth yesterday.

As is tradition; canons were fired out to sea as smoke bombs were released on the roof. A truly spectacular event that reflects the immense position which the building occupies.

This project is the result of 9 years of hard work from our visionary client Sam Glover and the team behind him.

Special mention to Will Bowden, Hydrock and RPA Quantity Surveyors Ltd who have spearheaded the design alongside APG's Project Architect, Martin Horne who has designated himself to this project.

Kudos has to go to the contractor; Construction Total Solutions Ltd. They have a wonderful site team and sub-contractors who are crafting some extremely high-quality work, led by Andy Wells, who will forever have his initials carved into the spire of Tors Park.
